Description:
“Night Terrors” is a soundscape designed to evoke a nightmarish sense of dread. By juxtaposing familiar, comfortable “day time” sounds with mysterious startling “night sounds” the writer takes the listener on an intense journey through the heart of darkness into the break of day.

This soundscape walks listeners through the loss of a close friend. It emphasizes sounds, such as musical lyrics from Cole’s favorite song, familiar voices like Cole laughing, voices from a church service, and everyday noises like wind, birds chirping, or a car starting.
