Child Care Training Provider – DCF Grant Funded Program

The Child Care Training Program remains dedicated exclusively to supporting Child Care providers through its high-quality child care training programs. Since the realignment of the program under the Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice, Child Care Training entered into two new community partnerships to support the community and improve the retention of qualified child care providers in 2021. An agreement with the Early Learning Career Center of the Children’s Forum was initiated in June 2021 to provide no-cost Trauma-Informed Care Training to Spanish-speaking childcare providers in Miami Dade. In December 2021, an agreement with the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, Inc. was established to provide no-cost training to newly hired early care educators in Broward County. Through both of these initiatives, the Child Care Training Provider maintains its commitment to the education and development of young children to maximize their future well-being.
