For over a decade, Nova Southeastern University’s Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine (INIM) has been at the forefront of raising awareness about neuro-inflammatory illnesses. Our multidisciplinary team of scientists and clinicians, specializing in endocrinology, neuroscience, nursing, nutrition, pharmacology, genomics, and computational modeling, collaborate to unravel the complexities of chronic conditions such as Gulf War Illness (GWI), ME/CFS, and Long COVID.
Through transitional research, we bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and patient care, seeking to alleviate the debilitating symptoms of these multisymptom illnesses, ultimately improving patients’ quality of life.
Mission Statement: The Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine at Nova Southeastern University strives to advance knowledge and care for people with complex neuro-inflammatory illnesses through the integration of research, clinical care, and education.
