Jeremy is a member of the President’s 64, an organization comprised of 64 hand-selected students representing different constituencies of NSU’s diverse population. Members provide targeted feedback to the President and serve as student ambassadors at University events.

“I don’t even know where to even begin. I woke up feeling nothing short of grateful and blessed. Last night, from a pool of over 23,000 current NSU students, I won Student of the Year for the College of Pharmacy and the Overall Student of the Year award for Nova Southeastern University.”

“Although these awards have my name on them, they’re not for just me. They are for those who took the time to speak with me, mentor me, and plant the seeds to facilitate my growth. For the students that I mentor, that look up to me the same way that I look up to those above me. For my friends, the friends that I don’t have to speak to every day, but know that in a heartbeat I’ll be there for them to help out in any way. It’s for my family, the ones that share my bloodline and have nurtured and cared for me every step of the way. For the young black men and women, to see that even in a world not conducive to our success, we have a seat at the table and we excel nonetheless. It’s for my professors, faculty members and staff from preschool all the way to pharmacy school. Without your dedication to teach and facilitate an environment conducive to learning, I wouldn’t be who I am today.”

Jeremy with two Awards“Thank you NSU for everything, and thank you to the entire STUEY’s production team that made the award show feel as if you’re at the Oscars. With every accolade achieved, the will to reach my ultimate potential grows stronger and stronger. Excited to continue to learn daily, step far away from my comfort zone, and aspire to reach heights I never thought were imaginable. I’m just getting started. 🙏🏿”
