Cathy J. Husman ALS Center Designated as Certified Treatment Center of Excellence

The Cathy J. Husman ALS Center at the NSU Health Neuroscience Institute provides specialty care for patients diagnosed with ALS. The multidisciplinary team approach ensures that all aspects of the disease including physical, emotional, and mental well-being are addressed.
On August 27, the Cathy J. Husman ALS Center was designated as a Certified Treatment Center of Excellence by the ALS Association. The Director and Board Members of the ALS association visited the current clinic and toured the clinic’s future location, where construction has already begun, to deliver the Center of Excellence plaque.
