Federal Agency Updates

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has created a new “Implementation of New Initiatives and Policies” website which will include information about new policies and status changes impacting NIH grants processes. NIH announced on the new site that it will delay the previously announced May 25, 2025 deadline requiring applicants to prepare Biographical Sketches and Current and Pending (Other) Support forms in the Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae (SciENcv) research profile platform. Until further notice, NSU investigators submitting NIH proposals should continue to use the current NIH Biosketch and Other Support format pages but are encouraged to familiarize themselves with SciENcv to be prepared when the new effective date is announced. For additional information, visit the NIH website Common Forms for Bioigraphical Sketch and Current and Pending (Other) Support.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has created a National Implementation of Recent Executive Orders website, which provides information regarding the recent Presidential Executive Orders, and their impact on the NSF community. Investigators with active NSF funding, or who have proposals planned or in process, should continue to check the site for the latest updates.
