Dr. Raquel Bicknell is a dynamic professor within the College of Nursing with high clinical research interest on health literary and falls in older adults in outpatient settings. With a track record in research at the University of Florida, she is highly motivated to continue this journey at NSU. Dr. Bicknell will present her work at the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN)’s Doctoral Conference in 2024 and will continue to form partnerships within the community to tackle Social Determinants of Health in different populations. Dr. Bicknell’s other research interest include genetics, neurology, pain management and holistic nursing along with patient safety and disease prevention.
