NSU MD and DO Colleges are collaborating with the Urban League of Broward County on State of Black Broward Health Report

Faculty members from the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine (NSU MD) and the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine (KPCOM) are joining forces with the Urban League of Broward County to produce the State of Black Broward Health Report. This vital collaboration aims to illuminate health disparities and promote equity for Black residents in our community. By harnessing their expertise in public health research, data analysis, and healthcare education, NSU MD and KPCOM are uniquely positioned to pinpoint the most pressing health challenges faced by this population. This report will not only highlight critical findings but also present actionable recommendations, reflecting NSU’s commitment to advancing health outcomes and enhancing community well-being through education, research, and effective partnership.
