Open Access Fees Waived/Discounted, Time to Publish…

A Message from NSU Libraries:

The NSU Libraries have been approached by faculty over the past few years to inquire whether we had funds to help pay for APCs (Author Processing Charges) to publish in open access journals. We have started conversations with publishers and have a Read and Publish agreement in place with Cambridge Core Journals to waiver or discount APC’s for NSU authors (https://www.cambridge.org/core/services/open-access-policies/waivers-discounts. Some of you have already taken advantage of this service!

As the libraries negotiate new multi-year contracts with journal publishers, we are working to include APC discounts and/or waivers as part of the standard licensing agreement.
