NSU Research at the 21st Annual Community Fest

NSU hosted its 21st annual Community Fest, bringing together students, faculty, staff, and the greater Davie community for a day of celebration and engagement. The festival, which was originally founded in 2003, continues to be a cherished tradition, offering live entertainment, food vendors, and interactive booths run by student organizations and departments. At the Division of Research and Economic Development’s (DoR) booth, attendees had the chance to interact with faculty and staff while trying their luck at our spinning prize wheel.

The biggest attraction was the interactive “laboratory” photo booth, where kids and adults could immerse themselves in the world of science by stepping into a lab-themed setting for a memorable photo opportunity. These interactive activities not only entertained visitors but also emphasized NSU’s dedication to making research accessible and engaging for all ages, reinforcing the university’s role as a hub for education, discovery, and community involvement.
