Senior VP of Research honored at National Academy of Inventors Annual Conference

 

Ken Dawson-Scully, PhD, MSc, FNAI, FRES, Senior Vice President of Research, Associate Provost, and Professor at Nova Southeastern University (NSU), was honored at the National Academy of Inventors 14th Annual Conference in June 2025.

Earlier this year, Dr. Dawson-Scully was elected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors, joining a 2024 cohort that included 170 exceptional individuals, from 39 U.S. states and 12 countries, representing 135 research universities, governmental, and non-profit research institutions worldwide. Collectively, they hold over 5,000 issued U.S. patents and have made significant societal and economic impacts with their innovations. NAI Fellowship is the highest professional distinction awarded solely to inventors.

The annual conference held in Atlanta, Georgia recognized the new NAI Fellows and showcased their work’s impact.
