
David Reitman, Ph.D.
Project Director
David Reitman, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Psychology and the Director of the ADHD Assessment Consultation and Treatment (AACT) Program. He received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the University of Mississippi in 1995 and began teaching at NSU in 2001 after 6 years at Louisiana State University. Dr. Reitman is the author of over 50 publications concerned with child behavioral problems, behavior management, and parenting practices, and recently completed editing 2 books concerned with child assessment.
Dr. Reitman’s prior research and consulting activities have resulted in a number of collaborations with large organizations serving children, most notably Head Start Programs (in Mississippi and Louisiana) and, most recently, with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County. Dr. Reitman has also served as consultant to the Children’s Services Council of Broward County and frequently conducts trainings on logic modeling and outcome evaluation for “Out of School” providers. Dr. Reitman has served as the Director of Project RISE since its inception in 2005.

Diana Lores, Ph.D., M.S.W.
Program Director II
Diana Sinisterra Lores is Project RISE’s Program Director. She previously worked as Project RISE’s Associate Director of Youth Development. Prior to this, Diana served as the Director of Research and Evaluation at Prime Time Palm Beach County and as an After-School Assessor at Family Central. Diana also conducted semi-structured interviews, focus groups, and surveys for Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago for almost two years and provided school-aged children and their parents with in-home family services for Boys Town of South Florida for almost 10 years. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Planning, Administration, and Research from SUNY Stony Brook and her doctoral degree in Comparative Studies from Florida Atlantic University.

Joshua Lazarus
Program Coordinator
Joshua is Project RISE’s Program Coordinator. He graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in English. In his spare time, Joshua serves on the board of Andra’s Hand, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that assists underprivileged families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder in the South Florida area.

Amy Gallup, M.A.
Associate Director of Learning and Development
Amy has been an educator for nearly thirty years, serving as both a teacher and administrator in both the private and public education sector. In 2017, she founded Breakthrough America, a nonprofit to bring children from underserved communities into our National Parks. She earned her Master’s Degree in English from the University of Florida

Kristen Diallo
Learning and Development Specialist
Kristen is the Learning and Development Specialist for Project RISE. She has spent her years prior to coming to Project RISE working in public education in various parts of the country. She started her career as an elementary school teacher, then moved on to become a middle school English teacher, and most recently served as a Literacy Coach with Broward County Public Schools. She holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree in Literacy from Central Connecticut State University.

Carime Oliver
Instructional Coach
Carime Oliver is an Instructional Coach at Project RISE. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida International University and obtained his M.Ed. with a specialization in distance learning from Northcentral University. He previously worked with the Broward County library system in various roles for over 15 years. During his time in libraries, he taught computer courses, developed curricula, served as a staff trainer, and coordinated teen and adult volunteer programs at multiple locations. These experiences led to a growing desire to help people qualify for greater career options through continuing education. Joining Project RISE presents opportunities for him to blend his professional experience with teams and his personal passion to facilitate growth in his community. He enjoys all things sports related -especially soccer- and is a youth soccer coach for his local optimist club.

Giselle Forde Myers, M.S.W., R.C.S.W.I.
Instructional Coach
Giselle Forde-Myers earned her degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and her master’s degree in social work from Barry University. Working in education for the last 23 years, as everything from a science teacher to a district equity liaison, Giselle is now a social worker for Broward County Schools. Her goal is to ensure the social, emotional, and academic success of all students. In her professional roles, and her role as mother and grandmother, she believes that the proper environment and nurturing are keys to success in the classroom and life.

Regina Bothwell
Graduate Assistant
Regina Bothwell is a graduate assistant at Project RISE. She is a doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology PsyD program at Nova Southeastern University. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland with a minor in vocal music. During her time at Washington College, Regina interned as a teacher assistant in a specialized K-8 school for children with special needs. Regina spent a year prior to entering the Clinical Psychology PsyD program working as a preschool and daycare teacher.
