Brief Biography of Dr. Fuzhen Zhang

Fuzhen Zhang received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from University of California-Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 1993. He is currently a professor at Nova Southeastern University (NSU) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.

With interest in matrix analysis, linear and multilinear algebra, operator theory, and combinatorics, Dr. Zhang has published more than 80 research papers and about 130 math-related items, including 3 books. He has been on editorial boards of several mathematical journals and an Invited Plenary Speaker at conferences in his research area.

He is recipient of NSU Distinguished Professor of the Year Award and Shanghai City "Overseas Renowned Professors (海外名师)" Award.

Dr. Zhang was a host/co-advisor of Visiting Professor, Postdoc, and Ph.D. student from Turkey and China.


张福振博士简介 (Brief Biography of Dr. Fuzhen Zhang)

张福振，辽宁人。曾去先后在沈阳师范大学，北京师范大学学习和工作。1989年赴美留学，93 年获得美国加利福尼亚大学（圣巴巴拉分校 UCSB) 数学博士学位。现为美国佛罗里达诺瓦东南大学教授。

主要研究方向为矩阵分析，线性及多重线性代数。至今发表学术论文80余篇，著作3本。在世界各地做学术报告近百次。

曾获诺瓦东南大学杰出教授奖，上海市“海外名师”称号。

参与创建南佛州中国科技教育文化协会，并曾任主席，南佛州现代中文学校校长等职。
