Mularkey’s Message

No matter the season or the weather, NSU continues pursuing a path of preeminence. The results are seen in the students, who launch from the classroom to the community, and in the difference our researchers make in the fields of healthcare, environmental studies, social sciences, and more.

Congratulations to this year’s commencement honorees. Thank you to everyone who shared photos on social media—we enjoy seeing #NSUSharks on all those posts. A few of our graduates shared their future plans with our student-run Mako News. Whether pursuing further educational opportunities, joining the military, or starting a career, these Sharks will inevitably make a meaningful impact on the world. We look forward to hearing and sharing their stories in the future. And, in a first for NSU, students from all three of NSU’s Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing campuses participated in an inaugural combined pinning ceremony.

NSU recently released the 2024 Research Report. The report’s title, “Elevate. Excite. Enrich,” provides an apt depiction of the stories the publication contains. We hope that you’ll take a few moments to learn more about the discoveries NSU researchers are bringing to the world. We also invite you to peruse recent publications from faculty members at NSU’s H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship. We are proud to boast such a wide range of experts here at NSU.
