My research is focused in the area of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).  My current interests are focused on Usable Privacy and Security and socio-technical contexts and to explore the user experience (UX) of approaches to information security management and practices, such as personally identifiable information (PII), privacy impact assessments (PIA), risks to privacy, and different ways privacy and security impacts users and usability of systems. Usability is a core focus, including systems design and user experience/interaction design aspects. A current topic of interest is how seniors perform secure privacy practices and to learn about their concerns about keeping current with effective strategies to protect their privacy in everyday technology contexts.
