The Provost’s Research and Scholarship Awards (PRSA) have been honoring faculty for their outstanding accomplishments for the past 13 years. This past year, there were 5 faculty members honored in two categories and from different career stages. The winners were honored at the 2023 External Funding Recognition event held in the Levan Center for Innovation on November 13, 2023. Additionally, the winners gathered with Provost Ronald J. Chenail, PhD at the NSU Faculty Club to celebrate. The 2023 PRSA winners are:

 

In the category of Arts, Business, Humanities, Law, and Social Sciences:

 

 

 

Assistant Professor AwardAmanda Furiasse, Halmos College of Arts & Sciences is an Assistant Professor of Digital and Medical Humanities in the Department of Humanities and Politics.

 

 

 

Assistant Professor Award – Amy Ellis, College of Psychology, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology and Director of the Trauma Resolution and Integration Program.

 

 

 

Professor Award – Bahaudin Mujtaba, H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business and Entrepreneurship, is a Professor of Human Resources and International Management.

 

 

In the category of STEM and Health Medicine:

 

 

 

Assistant Professor AwardLisa Robison, College of Psychology, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience.

 

 

 

 

Professor Award Robert Smith, Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Allopathic Medicine, is an Associate Professor in the department of Medical Education and researcher in the NSU Cell Therapy Institute.
