From the Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing…

October 2023 Research Highlights reported by the Ron and Kathy Assaf College of Nursing.

Holly Evans Madison, PhD, MSN, RN employs several strategies to uncover factors associated with nursing student self-care and enrichment; currently, she leads a multidisciplinary research team investigating and identifying nursing students’ efficacy in adopting interventions to promote self-care. As an advocate for student involvement in research, Dr. Madison ensures that students participate as collaborators in her research projects. With an article publication underway, Dr. Madison and her team highlight their research findings in “Using Human Caring Science as the Framework for Mentoring PhD Students”, to be presented at the SNRS 2024 conference. Dr. Madison and her team will not stop there as their plan is to dive deeper to explore additional aims of her research focus to uncover faculty and student mentoring factors.
