Jean Latimer, Ph.D., Director at the NSU AutoNation Institute for Breast Cancer Research and Care and an Associate Professor and Cancer Research Scientist at NSU’s College of Pharmacy was recently interviewed by South Florida PBS to talk about her research focused on investigating DNA damage in human breast tissue caused by environmental factors, including from toxins found in South Florida drinking water. Through the institute, Dr. Latimer oversees research initiatives aimed at developing innovative methods for cancer prevention and treatment. Check out the South Florida PBS video for more.
