ASQ Southeast Florida has announced a new board position set to begin in September 2022. The position is entitled “Audio/Visual On-Site Arrangements Chair” and is available for application now. This new position presents a wonderful opportunity for NSU students and alumni to gain professional experience as an ASQ member leader.
The position is perfect for members who attend ASQ in-person meetings hosted at Tropical Acres Steakhouse in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In the position, the board member will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations for live streaming events including handling Zoom operations, ensuring both audio and visual are working properly and monitoring Zoom chat to troubleshoot any audio/visual issues reported by online members.
The position is available to all ASQ Southeast Florida members to apply, however, if a student member is awarded the position they will need to upgrade their membership to “professional” by the start of their first board meeting. Professional membership can be upgraded at ASQ.org or by calling ASQ headquarters.
