Congratulations to Class of 2018 alum, Kara Brien for achieving the “Rookie of the Year” examiner award from the Sterling Council. As a first year examiner, Kara Brien performed as operations category lead for a healthcare organization for the Florida Sterling/Georgia Ogelthorpe Governors Award.
The official Sterling announcement read as “Kara arrived to the GSA process with a high level of knowledge in process management and performance improvement. As CEO of Lean Elevation, her understanding of the Sterling Criteria was instinctive adapting easily to the content framework. Kara completed a thoughtful and complete Independent Evaluation followed by skilled questioning as the lead for category 6.1. Her final comment writing followed model examples perfectly. Kara is a highly valuable team member who was fully engaged in the process and completed her work on time and with excellence. Her cat also offered some fun times during video calls!”
