Only month remains to apply for the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Section 1510 Orlando Acevedo Student Scholarship. This year, ASQ Section 1510 will be awarding two awards of $2,000 each to qualified students.
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to qualified college/university students to pursue their education and promote ASQ Section 1510 activities to the local community. Applications must be submitted no later than July 20, 2023.
The students scholarship is open to anyone purusing an undergraduate or graduate college education in an accredited college or university. Applicants must submit an essay on the subject of “What does quality mean to me?” between 500 and 1000 words along with the completed application. Applicants must also have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA. High school students entering college should submit their high school transcript and college students should submit their college transcripts.
